Unlike the Element, which is popular with guys who think they're still cool, Honda's new SUT will target "cool dads--young fathers with 9-to-5 jobs and growing families that like to tear it up on the weekends with their ATVs and jet skis."
The truck, which ressembles a scaled-down Chevy Avalanche, will get more than the Pilot's 240hp with the same 6-cylinder engine. Auto show gimmicks like built-in Maglites, seatback nets made of rock-climbing rope, and a "Mad Max" instrument display may not survive into production.
